Animal adoptions now available!

We’re thrilled to unveil our brand-new Animal Adoption Scheme – a unique way for families and animal lovers to connect with the delightful creatures who call The Walled Garden home.

From our cheeky Pygmy goats and bouncy guinea pigs to our inquisitive ferrets and our newest residents – a cuddly pair of Kunekune pigs – there’s a friendly face waiting to steal your heart. You can even choose from our more exotic residents, like our striking Bearded Dragons and the majestic Bosc Monitor!

Whether you’re an animal enthusiast, looking for a meaningful gift, or simply want to support our students at EMA in their animal care training, this scheme offers a brilliant way to make a real difference.

For just £40.00 annually, you can adopt one of the following animals:

  • Pygmy Goats
  • Kunekune Pigs
  • Rabbits (as a group)
  • Guinea Pigs (as a group)
  • Ferrets (as a group)
  • Bosc Monitor
  • Bearded Dragons (as a pair)

Whether you’re adopting for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone special, you’ll receive:

  • A personalised quarterly letter from your adopted animal, plus a birthday and Christmas card
  • A beautifully presented certificate of adoption
  • A VIP meet and greet with your animal(s) during the 12-month adoption period
  • Your name posted on the Animal Adoptions page of our website and at the animal pens (if you wish)
  • A season ticket which allows unlimited entry for the 12 months of adoption for one adult

How your adoptions help.

Every penny from your adoption contribution goes directly to the animal care team and the students of EMA. It will help to pay for upkeep and enrichment of animals and their enclosures, as well as providing resources to help our EMA students learn about lifecycles and how to care for the animals too.

We are excited to invite you to become a part of our animal care family and look forward to welcoming you into the Animal Adoption Scheme for 2025!
