The Bug Shed REOPENS for Easter with MORE BUGS than ever!

Get up close and personal with our REAL bugs this Easter Holiday as Bug Expert Chrissy will give an educational and hands on meeting (if you’re brave enough!) with our family of cute mini beasts! Ghost Mantis, Katydids, Death Head Hawkmoth, Blue Death Beetles, Cockroaches, and Giant African and Red Dragon Millipedes, Stick Insects, Leaf Insects, Plum Dung Beatles and MORE!

(plus maybe a little peek at another eight legged mini monster or two…)

Space is limited and tickets must be purchased online in advance.

March – Sat 30th, Sun 31st

April – Tues 2nd, Wed 3rd, Thu 4th Sat 6th, Sun 7th

Important information:

• All attendees into the bug shed require a ticket – including adults
• Event suitable for ages 5 and upwards only
• All children between 5-8 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult, or if you feel your child would need supporting due to extra needs.
• Adults not attending the event itself must still be on-site for the duration (30 mins). Refreshments available in our garden shop while you wait! 🙂

Please be prompt and arrive a few minutes before your session. Session times are set and cannot overrun.

We are also hosting our EASTER TRAIL every day during half-term, (£4 per map, no booking required), and our ALICE IN WONDERLAND EXPERIENCE on 4th and 11th April (£14.95 per ticket) so some and join us for a brilliant family day out this April in Dorset.

Dovecote Café. Family area with animals (and our pygmy goats!). Garden shop, serving refreshments, cakes, snacks, with a range of gifts and plants.

Free parking. (suggested donation of £3 for formal garden area)
