Have you ever wondered what happens in a garden when everyone has gone home?
We’ve heard whispers that when the gates close to the public, secret gardeners have been quietly helping to look after the gardens and have been doing so for generations. They’re very good at keeping out of sight, but they do leave clues behind.
It could be a door, a pile of tools, their workstations or maybe their break area; there’s lots to look out for.
As you wander around the gardens and animal acre, keep your eyes peeled for signs of the Secret Gardeners and the evidence they’ve left behind in our new trail!
Who are they? Where do they live? What do they get up to when the gates close and everyone goes home?
We’re not giving away all their secrets just yet…So keep your eyes open and look out for the clues and some interesting facts along the way!
