If the ground is dry, vehicles will be allowed to drive into the event pitch area just to unload – they will then have to be moved to the stallholder parking for set up and during the event. This will be the same for the end of the event.
- If the ground is wet, stallholders will be asked to park in the stallholder parking and carry equipment to your pitch, this is a very short distance though we recommend bringing a sack truck as we don’t have enough staff to help. There will be communication about this closer to the day.
- Anyone who arrives after 9am will not be permitted to drive into the pitch area to unload and will be directed to stallholder parking. Please be prompt with your arrival.
- Set down will not be permitted until 3:00pm unless a member of staff speaks to you otherwise, and vehicles may not drive onto pitch area until 4pm unless the site clears of visitors before then. A member of staff will confirm on the day.

- We are unable to supply electricity for this event.
- There is NO WI-FI in the event field and phone signal can be patchy. We encourage all visitors to bring cash and promote it as a cash event as much as possible. Card readers may work, though this will depend on your service provider. We recommend checking before the day and bringing a cash float.

Visitors & Marketing
- Expected footfall: Our events are very dependent on the weather, so unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a guaranteed footfall. However, previous Walled Garden events have seen anything from a few hundred, to almost 1,000 people through the gates over the course of the day. We have continuously received positive feedback for all our events from visitors and stallholders.
- We market across social media (continuously), Dorset event websites, and through physical posters and signage in the local area, and on our own site.
- We supply stall holders with graphics to share on social media to promote their presence on the day
- We like to highlight who’s attending, and share stories and products on our website and social media where possible.
The weather, and cancellation terms.
- We aim to hold this event rain or shine. However, EMA and Walled Garden management will check the Met Office forecast 24 hours before the event. Should they deem it to be too unsuitable (i.e. heavy wind/rain), they will cancel the event, and all stallholder pitch fees will be refunded.
- We will also cancel should a weather warning be enforced by the Met Office for either wet or hot weather.
- The health and safety of you, our visitors, staff, and of course, the dogs, is paramount, and we appreciate your understanding should the event not go ahead.
- If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the event, we reserve the right to withhold your pitch fee. No-shows on the day will also forfeit their pitch fee.
- Please note, until we have received payment for the pitch, your spot is not secure and may be given away.
- The demand for space is always high, and we recommend booking promptly if you wish to join us, though bookings are not on a first come first served basis.
- We will assess all stallholder bookings carefully to keep the event offering diverse, and avoid too many stalls selling the same stock, keeping you happy and giving and our visitors plenty of choice.
- Being a dog show, there will of course be lots of dog / pet focused stalls along with others, but we do our best to keep it diverse.
- If you aren’t selected, we will offer you a space on our reserve list.
