Dog Show at The Walled Garden

Calling all dog lovers!
Bring your four legged friends to our Dog Show on Monday 29th May to enjoy a brilliant day out at The Waled Garden with a wide selection of side stalls from local businesses, crafts, food, refreshments and more!
Entry is free – donations are welcome.

Loveliest lady 12pm 
Fabulous fella 12.20pm
Gorgeous golden oldie 12.40pm
Precious pup (over 6 months under 12 months) 1pm
Waggiest tail 1.20pm
Junior handler 1.40pm
Best Rescue 2.20pm
Judges favourite 2pm
The price is £1.50 per dog, per class payable on the day.

 

⭐️Important Dog Show Visitor Information!⭐️
The main attractions of the show are taking place in our field adjacent to the family and animal area of The Walled Garden.
🎫ENTRY to the show is FREE
🚗PARKING: Parking is also free – please use our overflow car park (follow signage and signalling).
🐶Please keep your dogs on leads at ALL times.
💷PAYMENTS / CASH: Please bring CASH for use across the show, stalls, raffle etc (the nearest cash machine is Crossways Co-Op on Warmwell Road a couple of miles from us). Café and Garden shop customers can pay by card.
🎁RAFFLE: Grand Raffle tickets sold throughout the day – winner announced 2:30pm
🐶DOG SHOW: Categories are £1.50 per entry and you can enter as many as you like! 1st-3rd place awards with brilliant prizes up grabs! First category is at 12pm and a full list can be found on our website and previous social media posts.
🚮WASTE: Please pick-up after your dogs and dispose in the bins provided. Please take general waste home with you
🪑SEATING: We have limited seating in the form of hay bales. Benches are available in the gardens adjacent to the dog show but please feel free to bring a blanket or camping chair. Just please be mindful of others and do not block walkways
🚾🚻TOILETS: Accessible at the café, and at the play park area
🐐ANIMALS: Please do not feed our guinea pigs, rabbits, goats etc – and mind little fingers through the fences.
💟SAFTEY: We have first-aiders on site. The nearest hospital is located in Dorchester. Look out for each other, and don’t forget the sun-cream!
💦DOG BOWLS: We will have a few laid out around site, but please feel free to bring your own for your pooches!
☕REFRESHMENTS: We will have a quick refreshments table with instant tea/coffee/squash and some cakes made by our students – though if you’re looking for our full menu and a wider selection of food and drink, please visit the café.
🦋BUTTERFLY TRAIL – On Sat 27th all through half term (including during dog show). Maps available from the Garden shop.
Café and Garden shop will be open as normal
