Dog Show at The Walled Garden – 2026

After last year’s hot weather forced us to move our Dog Show 2025 to ‘online judging’, we’re excited to confirm that plans are now in place for our biggest event of the calendar. The Dog Show returns to our event field here in Moreton for 2026!

Taking place on Sunday 7th June, we will once again be welcoming you and your beautiful pooches for a day of prizes, games, fun, food, and more.

Our event field will be packed with a diverse range of local small businesses and craftspeople, dog-focused stalls, tasty treats, food and drink, and family fun – including a bouncy castle, axe throwing, and more.

Of course, the dogs are the stars of the show. The dog ring will give them the chance to take centre stage as they show off their cuteness, elegance, and even a trick or two! With lots of prizes up for grabs, including the coveted Best in Show trophy, it’s set to be a fantastic day celebrating our furry friends and just how much they mean to us.

Adults – £4 (your entry covers the event field and the entire five acre site of gardens, play park, and animal acre).

If you are entering a dog into the dog show awards, this grants one adult FREE entry.

Under 18s – FREE
Walled Garden Season Ticket Holders: FREE

Dog Awards Show Entry – £2.50 per dog per category

Pre-registration for the categories is NOW CLOSED – but you can still enter on the day. Please arrive early to ensure you don’t miss your desired category!

All registrations are handled through our event charity collaborator – Staffie and Stray Resuce. More details below!

This year we are collaborating with Dorset Dog Charity – Staffie & Stray Rescue. They will be taking care of all registrations and helping us with judging on the day!

You can still enter on the day! Please arrive early to make sure you don’t miss out on the category you’d like.

Registration is £2.50 per dog, per category (each dog gets one free adult entry to the event too!)

• Parking is FREE. Please park responsibly in our parking field or the overflow parking across the road. See map below!
• Stalls and attractions will be running their own sales
• Please bring CASH as card payments are not guaranteed in the field
• Card payments in café and garden shop are fine, and for entry should be fine
• Disabled priority parking in our gravel car park (limited spaces)
• If you’re parking around Moreton, please do not block roads or entrances and be mindful of residents

• First Aid available on the day, speak to staff in reg / entry tents
• Follow signage on sites for toilet facilities in family area or café
• Take home rubbish with you, or use bins provided in event field
• Some dog bowls will be on site but we also encourage you to bring your own if it’s a hot day
• We will have some straw bales for seating but we encourage you to bring camping chairs or blankets too! (please do not obstruct main pathways around the site)
• Please do explore our gardens when you visit

At the Dog Show, we’ll be hosting a grand raffle with some brilliant prizes up for grabs, with donations from local businesses, and those who are joining us for the event. All funds raised go directly to support People First Dorset.
