Important information regarding the reopening of the gardens.

In line with recent government guidance we will re-open The Walled Garden (the ornamental gardens only) on Saturday 30^th May 2020. Our car park will be open and we respectfully ask you to park 2 metres away from other vehicles.

We will be open:

Fridays 4 -8pm

Saturdays 10am – 6pm

Sunday 10am – 6pm

The entrance and exit will be through the main gate next to our folly through the carpark. There will be a maximum capacity of 100 people in the gardens at any one time, this will be controlled by staff at the gate.

We must ask that all visitors remain alert and respectful of social distancing, keeping a minimum of 2 metres apart – this will help us all protect public health.

Please follow signage and guidance on picnicking (we ask for a £5.00 donation for picnics – payable in the Dovecote Café takeaway), dog walking and cycling and using our takeaway food service at The Dovecote Café. If you bring a picnic – our picnic benches are not in use, please bring a blanket or your own chair.

 Please be advised our family area, animal area and kitchen garden will remain strictly closed to the general public at all times.

Our toilet facilities are open, please follow guidance and social distancing measures when accessing the toilets.

The Dovecote Café Takeaway service continue to be a cashless facility – payment by card only.

WE ASK FOR YOU TO TAKE ALL LITTER HOME WITH YOU.

 If you have a fever or persistent new cough we ask that you don’t visit. Please follow the NHS guidelines around preventing the spread of COVID-19, we are continuing to promote good hygiene and staff will be on hand to enforce this across the site.
